Nora rolls out a new trilogy set in Ireland's Waterford County, along the Celtic Sea. It's the stories about the Gallaghers, two brothers and a sister, who run a pub. There's a great deal of mysticism including a legendary fairie prince and a haunting ghost. Titled "Jewels of the Sun", "Tears of the Moon", and "Heart of the Sea", these novels are available in paperback.
JEWELS OF THE SEA
Psychology professor Jude Francis Murray is a wreck. After her divorce two years ago, she hasn't put her life back together. So, she quits her job, journeys to Ardmore, a small quiet village in Ireland, and seeks tranquility at her grandmother's cottage. Tranquility? Wrong! The first thing she sees is a mournful woman who, she later learns, has been dead for centuries. Then she meets Aidan Gallagher, handsome proprietor of the local pub. It doesn't help matters when Jude finds out that Aidan has been seeing the ghost of the faerie man for years. Aidan falls for Jude immediately, but she stubbonly refuses to yield. Through her relationship with Darcy, Aiden's sister, and Brenna, a local lass, Jude grows and learns who she is and what she wants and needs. The match-making efforts of her new friends contribute to Aidan's and Jude's budding romance. No one does family relationships better than Nora Roberts.

Can you name the first book by Nora Roberts, year issued, and publisher?
Best selling author Nora Roberts weaves a crafty tale of suspense, mystery and romance in her latest novel, "Carolina Moon". Following on the heels of other sensational offerings, the talented author enthralls readers with fast-paced drama, heart -stopping terror and memorable characterization.
In this latest thriller, feisty Tory Bodeen, a reluctant psychic, returns to her hometown, Progress, South Carolina, determined to face the demons of her childhood. She is haunted by memories of the cruel physical abuse of her fanatical father, the betrayal of her passive mother, and the savage rape and murder of her friend, Hope. Tory must fight a multitude of nagging visions to free herself. Now, grown up, financially independent, and intent on rebuilding her life, she develops new relationships with old friends and finds herself drawn to Cade, Hope's twin and heir to the Lavalle cotton fortune. Sharing the sorrow of Hope's tragic death, Cade and Tory find solace in each other's arms. Both characters have spirit and exhibit firm resolve, successfully withstanding childhood trauma, haunted visions, and heated family objections. When another woman is murdered, Tory must face the renewed threat of the menacing killer who is still at large. The surprise ending and ultra-quick resolution left me feeling somewhat shortchanged but, if you liked "River's Edge", "Montana Sky" and "The Reef", you are in for another real treat. It's Nora at her best.
You might remember The Stanislaski Sisters, Natasha and Rachel. Excellent, lively stories-"Taming Natasha" and "Falling for Rachel" which led to "Waiting for Nick". I've been looking for copies of two other books from "Those Wild Ukrianians" series, "Luring a Lady" and "Convincing Alex". Sources say these two will be reissued in 2001. I hope I don't have to wait that long! I'm still hunting.
